I built the matt black EK4, wasny built to be pretty on forums, but it goes like f*ck so that makes it more than ok :)

I think they are speedlines.
 
The wheels on the Jordan are speedlines iirc, Im still uploading pics on my ****ing pile of **** bastarding photobucket
 
That black ek looks insane, High Comp B22 :O :O Jesus.

Bet thats immense fun to drive, oil cooler in the grille is a nice touch, and that front aero kit looks mental, Im guessing its custom made?

Lol i don't like the bonnet or the Wing but i think the bumper looks cool its for Aero's so purposeful...i reckon it'd give more front grip... maybe at higher speeds but it would def do something..

the bonnet is simply Form and ruins the clean lines of the front of an Ek IMO
I can see what you mean though it is a bit garish...

Id say the bonnet is pretty functional, given the gearing, the engine is going to spend most of its time over 80% of the rev limit, hence its going to generate a lot more heat :)
 
Yeah but shouldn't a decent full length radiator with a coolin plate be enough ?? i know its 248hpwhich is alot but thats nothing out of this world that would need drastic cooling.
I mean turbo B series engines must make loads of heat compared to an N/A setup.. specially as its 248 and some are running 400+ with no need for a vent on the bonnet..

maybe N/A setups make more heat i don't realy know i'm just going by logic really..
please correct me if wrong though mate no worries about that.. :)
 
Basically, the bonnet is cool and you just havnt realised yet haha.
 
this is what i mean " suits the car " I thought the car was meant to be Function over form..

It may well suit the car but the idea of WHAT it does interest's me more than how it LOOKS especially when we are talking about a car not desgined to look good on forum's

bonnet vent's are not cool unless needed. they scream " chav, ricer, boy racer, max power " :nono:etc.... what i was trying to say was does it need it..? cause if it is producing loads of heat and needs a massive vent then that is awesome IMO

Like I said, it will produce more heat than most other builds regardless of the power outputs, as it spends most of its time at really high RPM due to the gearing. Thats when the engines generating most heat.
