scooby sti sits in a ek9

My seats in my ek 9 are cutting the **** out off my legs,and hurting my kne's cause i can not get the seats back far enough bit tall.Any sugestions ?? Some people told me that the seats and rails in impreza will fit straight in does any one know if this is true before order them.. lovely seats to sit in. Cheers Lads

i dont think they will fit straight, you will have to do some modification, specially to the rail, try to find a photo of the rail + seat of a scooby so you can compare them. you will have to keep in mind that there's a big chance that you will have to cut / wreck the rails.

Tried Spoonsports seat rails? That is what a lot of the UK DC2 owners seem to use and yes that's the taller owners.

've seen a couble of ek9s woth sti seats so it can be done,but dont know more info to help you.

STi rails will not bolt up into an EK civic..I think the options are to get a aftermarket seat rail which may lower your seating position as well as move the position back, or get a frame fabricated to mount your seat back further. (essentially redrill your existing rails and fix them further back..)

The drivers seat in my mates EK9 is on the floor, but I prefer the way mine is. STI seats arent as comfortable as the recaros, no where near it.

i would go for a set of spoon rails as thy lower the seat by aout an inch which should make it quite a bit more comfortable for you

if that's still not quite right you could always source some DC5 integra recaro's, they are a little wider than DC2/EK9 recaros and some people find them better to sit in

just wondering how tall are you?

im about 6'7" and i fit into my ej6 hatch just fine....however i dont have the recaros
