i have owned quite a few clios, and peugeots over the years and touch wood i have never had a problem bar the odd light coming on. i suppose its just luck with them.

Wait for the following to fail:

vvt pulley Will start knocking
climate control unit Will break
exhaust Will crumble away

haha sammy boy exhaust did crumble and broke the other day but has been replace by a few brand new stainless steel system, due to get timing belt done the rest of the car has been checked and seems in tip top

i am already feeling a difference consumption is great, pulls like a train, i have had quite a few clios and this one is so far by far the best. like any sports car of age im not expecting it not to have the problem or 2 but being a mechanic myself and having a french car specilaist next door to me help is never far

x2 but in saying that this car has everything going for it, low miles, full service history, good price and its looks to be in good condition, what else can you ask for apart from it been a jap car best of luck with the new car mate

Nice car, but it has to be said. Don't keep it for too long, my brother made that mistake with his and the thing is riddled with problems. Keep it for two years tops and get a newer one or something else. Again, nice car, they are brilliant fun to drive and quick little things as well.

yeh thats the plan mate keeping it for 2 years tops until i have saved, hopefullly and so far has stayed trouble free
