Sam's Fresh ek9 Import - trackday & update.

Looking good, id stay away from hi comp stuff just change final drive to teg one and uprated flywheel/ lsd and will be sweet!

thanks matt! and i do plan on getting the s80 box and just play with the this engine then maybe turbo next year sometime not gonna waste money on k20's and all that...

Exactly try the b16b power with those mods you'll be surprised how close match to b18 it is specially on track which is where it counts no need to start replacing things before you found limit of your setup you have, if i could go back n do mine again would have fitted a cage n kept b16b with the gearbox mods then gone from there

Those wheel nuts are not correct for oem wheels, unless you have the adapter washers.

What you mean mate? I been told they are fine and seem to fit with no problems?

He means the oem wheel nuts for oem Honda wheels have an "acorn" type profile where the nut seats to the wheel.

Aftermarket nuts have a straight profile as 99% of aftermarket wheels have a tapered "seat".
This means an aftermarket nut on an oem Honda wheel will not have as much surface contact as on oem Honda wheel nut.

A friend ran RAYS lug nuts(alloy) on his EK9 standard wheels for years with no problems, you can buy the conversion washers as said if your in doubt.

just reminded me of this

Honda wheels have a ball seat - those nuts are tapered.

Which means your aftermarket nuts will make less contact with the wheel.

As above get some washers just to be sure. :nice:

Can you give me your feedback about these lca??? compare them with skunk2, same league as the skunk2??? I'm talking about bushings and sthrenght of the lca, the finish isn't what concern me, function over form ;)
