Item for sale: S4C gearbox
Price: £220+postage
Location: northern ireland
Condition: no cruching etc into any gears
Description: this box has covered 80k and is from my ek4 (2000)
has no lsd so same spec as ek9 box apart from the lsd.

do you know if you can fit a dc2 or ek9 lsd into this s4c box?

sorry to jack your thread.. just trying to get some info on this..
i once tried to put a dc2 lsd in a Y21 box and it didn't fit, the lsd holes weren't in the same direction as the final ring gear was, so no good..

i have a s4c now but it's running on my ek4 and i don't know if the final ring gear is the same as the Y21, if it is, it won't fit..
though if your sure the inside of the s4c box is the same as the ek9 one, it should fit..

i just didn't wan't to remove and open my box without knowing.

The ek4's S4C gearbox has a different size final drive and LSD to the ek9's. you would have to swap everything: the EK9's FD and LSD for it to work.

i have a known good LSD that will go straight in this box that i will sell for £180,, send me a pm if you need it,,
 
I have a dc2 98 spec LSD that would go on it if someone wants the box n diff. Pm me for info
