ROLLCAGE mazworx rollcage ?

Wouldn't pass an msa inspection. Doesn't mention the grade of steel either, the thickness is just shy of msa legality which is 50mm for CDS iirc.
Can't see it folding up in the even of an accident but there are safer cages about.

yeah thats what i was thinkin alright.. mainly for the bittta swagggggggggg that cage then haha

Haha. Yeah it's likely to work as a cage and will stiffen the car up no end but i wouldn't go to the trouble of getting it to the uk.
As I said, better cages out there.

dead right, always loved that design of cage seeing it in a few civics on google images, gunna get that design made up for my ek3 off a local fab company beside me :)

That cage WOULD pass MSA rules. You are allowed 45x2.5mm(1.75x.095") or 50x2(2"x .083) The only downside is that the rear diagonal is welded in for a LH drive car and not RH. That doesnt matter tho to the MSA

Ahh nice one Murray! Wasn't aware of the 45x2.5 rule. Assuming the design of the front legs is correct then it's just the thickness of the baseplates right?

Them longer legs are door bars. I would junk them and use it as a rear cage only, 4 point.
Doesnt say what thickness the base plates are, but aslong as they are 3mm then they are good

Or just junk the whole thing and buy a better cage..... Or just buy a cds hoop and weld on your own legs, I'm not keen on cages of that style (the u.s style one in the link)

Or this. Not really worth the hassle of getting it imported when you can buy off the shelf cages here. Cant say one cage is better than the other if they are made from the same materials and manufacturing processes.

It's just the style of the u.s cages I don't like, I don't like the harness bar and diagonal being in the main hoop and then having the rear stays not braced.

Best to stick with the tried and tested cage designs that the mainstream cage builders use
