Haven't been updating this much as i've been busy trying to get the car ready for japfest2, here's some pics of everything going together. Bottom end assembly...
Should really be writing stuff to go with the pictures. With the head I had it at browns engineering and asked them to skim it the smallest possible amount. They checked it and there was no warp so they really just ground it to make it a clean surface. While it was there I got new ferrea guides put in and the valve seats machine cut. The head was assembled with genuine honda stem seals and cam seals etc.
Oh and a big thanks to Steve my painter for getting the rocker cover done the day i dropped it off using paint he had lying about. Top man, really happy with how it turned out.
This took some doing... got the injectors and oil pump off @DBMatt at a bargain of a price... and the aem rail second hand but un used from a mate who bought it from a relatively reputable parts supplier (h-tune) and the injectors didn't fit the rail, standard ones would but ID ones wouldn't. Long story short.... 11.5mm drill bit sorted it out and I'm almost certain it is a genuine fake rail
