Regamaster fitment problem

Cool, cheers fella :) Will be good to get the Regas fitted properly (god knows how may miles it's done without spigot rings), although it's the first time I've seen my car with the OEM wheels on, think it looks quite nice. They really need a refurb though...

Cheers,
Alex

Important info. :nice:

I'd already ordered a set from Rarerims a few days ago but if they happen to be incorrect fitment I know where to get some now.

Just a thought, will I have a problem fitting them on the front as I had to use spacers to clear the brakes?

Been re-reading this thread several times, and believe I'm also in need of some spigot rings. I've decided to put the EK9 back on the 16" Advan RG wheels which came with the car, but noticed that the centre hole of the wheel is larger compared to the 15" Integra wheels currently on the car. Are any other Civic owners with Advans using spigot rings, and can anyone advise what size I would need. I'm assuming after reading EK9turbo's reply that the inner diameter will be 64.1mm, but need to find what the larger outer diameter needs to be.

Cheers,
John :)

ive ordered set from rarerims as well last week (for older version rega), i measured from tip of chamfer on inside of wheel (73mm), will see if whatever rarerims sends fit when they arrive

Call 'Zach' 07900-302119 - please tell him Will with the turbo EK9 sent you.

You'll probly find theyre 64.1 -> 72.1 but call him, tell him the make/model of your wheel. That size is alot cheaper like about £10 a set posted from what another member was telling me! :nice:

Cheers for the advice - will probably wait till Monday before calling Zach. I think you could be right regarding the spigot size, roughly measured the wheel with a bit of paper and then measured the paper and it's around 72mm :nice:

Just got some for my Advan Racing RG's. 64.1 -72.6.

Made loads of a difference, no vibration any more!!! :)

So let me get this straight guys...
The wheels in question was a:

Desmond Regamaster Evo
15 X 6.5
5 X 114.3 (+42 Offset)

Trying to be fitted with the Spoon Sports Twin-Block brake caliper.

1) The only way it would fit is by adding a 2-3MM spacer?
(Due to the smaller wheel diameter and spoke design)
2) If you have (+45) or Higher you could clear the caliper, right...

Really interesting and look forward to your answers.

ahhh, must of forgotten.
i went through the whole post thinking it was Spoon calipers, i know it was mentioned in there...

Received the spigot rings from Zach the following day - very quick delivery!!
Not so keen on their yellow colour but if they do the job :)
Will see if I can get the Advans and spigots test fitted later this week/weekend.

Mine fitted fine on my advans mate, seemed to make hell of a difference to vibrations. Personally I think the yellow looks quite cool when fitted. Shame it doesnt go with anything though. :p

I was thinking about getting my old enamel paints out (previously used for plasic model kits like Airfix and Tamiya) and painting the visible edges of the spigot rings!! :D Wondering how they'd look if they were the same blue as the stripes on the Advan wheels :nice:

Haha think yourselves lucky mine are pink like Will's :)

I agree with the v. rapid delivery, 'Zach' is a top eBay seller.

Have trimmed the tabs off but not got round to fitting them yet as the OEM wheels are back on for the mo. Maybe at the weekend I'll fit them.

Cheers,
Alex

Cool, let us know how it goes. That zach does do good service, when i collected mine he had all-sorts of size spigot rings, shedloads of giant rims and a bunch of really rare wheels too.

Either that or get some centre caps. :D Damn you regamaster-makers not supplying caps with the 15" rims. :((
