Finally decided on the brake disc Project U EK9 spec front discs, re-drill in 4x100 + 3mm custom spacer to be place behind the disc (actual Spoon do sell this spacer for EK4 or EG6).
Final product,
I am using 205/50/15 tires, it sticks out from the fender little bit. I think i will get into trouble with tire rubbing on the fender in the bump........May switch back to 195/55/15.
Installed the Spoon induction tube and radiator stay,
Also removed the both rear trailing arms and lower arms. So it is ready for bushing replacement.
But there is one problem, i am missing the rear low arm shock mounting point bushing. I tried to buy it today and they don't have it in stock. It will take 1.5 month to order it from Mugen............I am trying to find alternative......
After found out that i have to wait 1.5 month for order Mugen bushing. I ditch my plan for replacing the rear-end with Mugen bushing........And i went for Hardrace bushing for the rear. Waited 2 weeks for this,
I heard the Hardrace bushing is just as good as Mugen bushing. So i bought a replacement lower control arm and adjustable rear camber arm. And replace the toe arm with Hardrace bushing.
I am going to repaint that lower control arm in black (stock looking to avoid problem from the police). Hopefully i will have time to install all this back on the car next week!!
Some update and the EK is getting ready to be back on the road end of August!!
Installed all the rear suspension parts with all new bushing (Hard race bushing). Also painted the Cusco lower tie bar in silver due to over spray and repainted the Hard Race replacement lower control arm in black.
Installed the CTR grille and Lip.
Due to fitment issue with the Hard Race replacement rear lower control arm, i ordered the missing rear lower control Mugen bushing to replace the old bushing. Also got the AC rubber cover and battery switch.
