As per the title, my EK9 is picking up speed on being built, etc so really need to look at options for the interior, exterior, engine and chassis are in progress/already planned.

Interior wise I plan on having the dash, possibly door cards - I am not sure yet, and limited carpet/mats.

I Have a Steering Wheel and Harness sorted (Spoon and Takata respectively), but cannot decide on a Bucket Seat? I have an old Bride Zeta 1 (Fibreglass) but this isnt satisfactory, maybe it would be good for the passenger side, but would prefer something else for me personally. Was looking into getting the Spoon Carbon Kevlar seat, they are incredibly comfy and fit me perfectly, but am not sure on these anymore. Thought I'd ask peoples opinions, as people have different seats, etc.

Maybe if people can do a rating on price, comfort, fit, quality, etc?

Cheers, Sam

Hear alot of people talking about the SPG, never sat in one though.

Keeping the bride for a rainy day sorry mate, is a nice seat but is in ruins at the moment, will get it all fixed up and back re-sprayed and re-trimmed, just want something bit better for EK9.

Recaro profi-SPG is amazingly comfy, drove from Aberdeen to the Nurburgring harnessed up (takata too actually) and was alright. if you are anything over 35" though you won't fit

The Kevlar one that shane refers to is the SPA, not the SPG, it has deeper sides and is an awesome seat, costs twice as much as an SPG though, hahahaha

If you source a tatty SPG i will have a full mint cushion/cover set in red for sale cheap, changing the drivers cover to black to match my SPG passenger seat i just bought :)

Cheers mate, as mentioned I know a few people have the SPG's but never really asked anyone about them, how much do they cost roughly? and then I'll x2 to get the SPA cost!

Cheers for the offer, but car is yellow - unfortunately red interior wont go!

Not cheap, they're up to £565 new, each

capitalseating are the uk supplier for Recaro, they have most up to date prices for them

If you can source a ripped one cheap it works out ok....... passenger side i bought for 130 delivered and it just needed a new outer cover at 110, so 240 for a mint seat!

Best to look about, bargains to be had

Corbeau do some nice seats too, depends what brand you want to go for, I just mentioned Recaro as I run them and when you were reffering to Takata / spoon / bride then you are obviously into your big brands :)

Fair enough, thats pretty good price for the passenger side.

Haha, ive used Cobras and everything over the years, used a few different types of harnesses to and never really been 100% happy with some, so when I was in Japan on Holiday, got a work contact over there to get some ordered for when I arrived :) and having sat in the Spoon Carbon seats in Spoon Japan was very impressed. Im open to any brand tbh, just Spoon is the only like really good one I've tried.

We will see :)
