Hi there,

I've been registered up here for a fair while but never actually posted up really. I've not long picked up an EG and the driveshaft has started to knock.

I'm looking for good aftermarket shafts which will help prevent failure in future, can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm new to the Honda thing as much as I've liked them for years so not sure where to look.

Kyle.

Depends what engine your EG has, and your future plans, if you plan on running boost in the future might be worth getting some that can handle the added power.

I'll be keeping the B16 in it probably. I'd rather the driveshafts were overkill if anything to prevent it from happening again. It's going to get track work so I'd want it to be as strong as I can.

Drive shaft shop.. Probably major overkill on a stock b16 and costs a fair bit + import fees as I don't think anywhere in the UK stocks them. Tegiwa also sell some called insane shafts I think but I seen a lot of mixed opinions on those.

Just get some refurbed oem shafts. Cheaper and they do the job.

Just refurb your oem ones.
Or buy some from new ones from j&r. £60 . Job done.

I've got a tegiwa shaft in mine.
Boosted trackcar....

Maybe so.
I've got a plate LSD in mine aswell and they are pretty harsh on the cv joints.

Just get some blueprint cv joints to replace your own, the Honda stuff is far better than a lot of the shearer replacements, drive shaft shop stuff is way over kill!
