recent pics of ek9

just checked old text messages and his name is jason smith-links well with what moynagh
was saying. still can't find a thread though:(

Yea thats my mates old car.He is an OEM man out and out.He replaced the headlights in her for genuine honda ones as the old ones were a bit faded and a brand new front bumper from honda as there were a few stone chips in the old one(nothing really). He knew if he got the old one sprayed it wouldnt be 100% so decided to buy one straight from the factory. You have a minter of a 9 there man:bow::bow:

id love to know,he was a honda enthuasist, really knew alot about his cars
i bought it in kildare on nov 2010 approx
if anyone knows the member or a thread on this car let me know, just out of curiosity:)

moynagh- just a wipe of a cloth and a hard drive to burn off any dirt etc. never touched it otherwise, just a quality maifold from j's racing:))

great to hear from you again..didn't know you were on here. the car is going great.when i had the timing belt done it was out a few teeth and once done she pulled a nice bit more in lower rpm..
kept her standard and clean and got a new double din and rear trailing arm bushings replaced as you can see.seat covers always on, garaged, waxed etc. so she'll have a nice easy life with me.
credit to you, the way you kept it, far superior than other ek9's i went to see.
recognise you profile pic to be my car, looks sweet:))
what do yuo have now? the itr you were talking about..
and ya the spoon rails are pretty low but i like the racey feel:)

My god man that is gorgeous. Probably the cleanest I've seen in a long time. Congrats

So glad you are looking after it, i treated it like a baby. Cant remember the last time i have seen as cleen as ek9 as that car. I actually jus sold my uk AE86 twincam corolla debating on going back to another honda or not. Have you any plans for her?

nice some rwd fun, have you ever considered a dc5,i know there a more modern car than an ek9/ae86 but iv heard good things about them. might get a milano red one in the future myself..
was going to get her undersealed but when i had her up on the ramps it was spotless so decided against it,i try to keep her off a wet road anyway.
maybe some bronze 15" slipstreams or ce28n's.think they would look good on a white car. won't touch the suspension though, handles brillantly and not too hard,no rattles etc.
thats about it though, keep her oem and in the same condition i got it from you:nice:

ya,not for everyone seen plenty of threads of people coming back to ek9's shortly after buying a dc5
never knew that, ill look into it.15" would be my best bet on standard ride height.
talk to you again, Muiris.
