So I was thinking, with Recaro's easily going the thick end of £400 for a good set, what's to stop someone smashing a window and unbolting them n making off with some expensive seats?

Are there any locking nuts? Like for wheels etc.

Or am I being EPICLY stupid and would those wheel locking nuts fit? :blabla:

Lol I've never heard of someone stealing the seats before.
Could weld them down I suppose.

A mate had a Supra, some twits smashed his window, pretty much pried open his door open with feck knows what and unbolted his seats. left him out of pocket about 2k

Remember a guy an itr-dc2 a couple of years ago had his two front red Recaro's stolen, stolen by order I bet, pretty stupid like. And I reckon it's just a chance you got to take, not a huge one though IMO.

Go to a decent fixings supplier and get some anti theft bolts, or use cap head and hammer a ball bearing into the head once fitted. Nothing will stop a thief though and chances are if they break in for them and can't get them out they will just slash the fabric and leave them.

Yeh :/ That incident I mentioned happened down in London and i've moved up to Yorkshire since which seems a lot safer, but will always have the whole "what if" in the back of my head once I get things the way I like em
