Recaro prices?

Why have dc2/ek9 recaro seats started to take a huge jump in price?

Few months back I was seeing red sets going for £400-£500(max)

Now they going for £500 for a set in average condition with no rails!

I am wanting a set of recaros for my jordan (preferably black) and these are also going for silly money these days. What is going on here? :confused:
 
Not as much good sets left, People are reluctant to sell them when they do they are just pricing at what they see others go for!
 
i wish i could have got that much for mine, i was letting them go for alot less to a mate.

the recent prices are crazy!
 
Do a px for the recaros in Jordan's Jordan. His ones are cooler :)
 
And you're talking about dc2-ek9 ones.
Try to find some recaro 30th anniversary from ep3:clap:
 
I might sell mine, they are standard EK9 red Recaros and I have Spoon low seat rails for both (driver's is gen 1, passengers gen 2). The drivers side seat could really do with bolster replacement (which I believe Ally's selling?), passenger side is much better. I will be in Glasgow next weekend if you want to come and have a look at them? Charging £500 for the seats never crossed my mind lol. Send me a PM and let me know how much do you think they are worth ;)

Mine are at 400 in average condition no rails, I haven't seen a set go for much less than that tbh? Loads on eBay at 450-550!
 
Mine are at £600 ono, just because they are blue from the DC5. Could do with some new outer bolster foam, but as these seats are getting older and harder to come by as they were going cheap for a while people aren't as willing to let them go.
 
2x sets on ctro, 1 mint black dc5 set with dc5 rails for 400 another ep3 prem with ep3 rails for 400 as well

I had a black set that were decent condition that i let go for 340 and 80 for dc2 rails.

Dc5 and ep3 seats suck in an ek.
 
Ive a set of evo 3 recaros in my car the same as these ones in similar condition. Ive always wondered what there worth. What do you guys think?

Do yellow type r X seats really pricey in europe like here in the US ?
