hi wandering if any 1 has a rebuild manuel for s80 gearbox normally build race boxes never looked at a road car one though anything to watch ect ?

sealing back up as well what you use ? hylomar ?

got a 4,7 fd but swapping 4th and 5th as well

Can download the honda service manual from fastjapcars site

I used this when i rebuilt my box, pretty straight forward to be honest!

I used loctite liquid gasket to seal the box up, it's fine up to high temperatures and not had any issues with leaks etc yet

I used this as a rough guide.

Installing 94+ GSR gearset and Factory LSD into a 92-93 YS1 cable clutch case

Swapping the final drive is pretty easy once the gear towers is out. Another thing to note the LSD- final drive bolts are left hand thread.

For the OEM diff yes, found out when swapping box parts about that Spoon diff uses conventional right hand threads so may be the case with other aftermarket diffs

Just for the info, Cusco plate type diffs use left hand thread.
