rear knock problem

i own honda civic ej9 1.4 on year 2000,i get knocking noise from rear when ever i go over pot holes or the smallest bump,i have replaced rear trailing arm bushes,rear upper arm on both side,also done rear shock mounts,i still get the knock on rear,can somebody please advice me what it could be,cause im having problems finding the answer,thanks
 
could be a rock stuck under the car. my dads cars always knocks because theres a stone stuck under the bottem panel.
 
as said above, do you have a rear anti roll bar, could be the bushes.

the bushes on my 9 went and you only heard it at slow speeds around town, on the motorway it was silent.
 
More than likely anti roll bar bushes or drop link as guys said though worth checking actual shock itself if it's not one of those, particularly if your running aftermarket ones etc.
 
Ej9s dont have rear arb and are you running any rear upper strut brace.
 
Possibly a worn exhaust bush??

So every time you go over a bump or pot hole the LCA hits the exhaust/backbox?

Have a look for excess play exhaust bushes are cheap.

thanks for the info,i have checked my ej9 dosnt have drop links or antirool bar on rear,would it be rear lower lcas where it connects to the hub,anymore info would help,as iam confused where the problem is.

It cant really be the LCA to the knuckle cause thats a single bolt and cant really knock, make sure all bolts are tight.

Genuinely look at the exhaust back box bushes mate.

Could be the rear trailing arm bushes wen mine went they knocked when i went over bumps.
 
Poss exhaust hitting,i had a knocking on ek and it was the rear speakers coming loose and that sounded like it was from the underside
 
Are you 100% sure it's coming from the rear? The front ARB drop links can sometimes make it sound like its the rear of the car making the noise when in actual fact it might be coming from the front/middle section. I know my front drop links are worn at the front left hand side and it sounds like its coming from the rear. They are a common problem on civics, and do making a knocking/tapping sound on every bump.
