ok as some of you know, the shitty brtish weather and shitty british authorities require us to fit rear fog lights. im not a fan of the shitty custom switches fitted to blanking panels etc so was just wondering if there is such a thing as a JDM rear fog switch for the EK9??

or was there one on the EK4? and would it fit the EK9 if there was?

About the switch, I don't know, but I heard that if you take off the rear bumper that there is a pattern already made if you wanna cut out to put a rear fog light. I never removed my rear bumper but like I said, that's what I heard.

You can buy a normal ek fog light switch, I think the DC2 one might work as well, and put it in those little cut outs in the arm rest. If you don't have fog lights already just put the switch where it goes normally, in the cut outs in the dash. I've personally never heard of a rear fog light specific switch. If you don't want to buy a EK fog switch, you can buy an small generic switch that handles the same amperage of the stock switch, and mount it some where hidden but accessable like underneath the steering column behind the panel.
A rear fog light is pretty cool over here in the US, people do it all the time even when its completely unnecessary.

Yes HONDA did make the rear fog for most car for european market.

Don't quote me but I think the original switch is meant to be placed at the armrest console. Those slot in armrest console and those besides the power window switch are different in sizes. But if you don't install front fog then you can use the slot there by using front fog switch, both work the same.

No need to cut a hole in the bumper. Just mount a halfords style fog light in the lic plate area. that will get it through the SVA as that how we get them passed. Then once they are passed that we take it off and add it to the drivers rear light cluster so you cant see it at all unless its on. This will pass the MOT this way but not the SVA.
