Rear disc's and pads


Think i've decided on EBC Ultimax Disc and Redstuff pads, it is my daily drive after all
 
The EBC discs are more expensive than the Mtec ones, with no difference in quality, performance or life according to the feedback from everyone who's bought them.

This is true EBC are over priced tbh the MTEC ones are brilliant and I've given mine a hammering
 
They're very popular now and making a good name for themselves. I run them on the track MX5 and I've sold a lot of sets to DC2, EK9, Celica, Evo and other marques and as yet had nothing but good things said about them.
You're looking in the region of £115 for a set of rear EBC ultimax yes? (quick google search)
A set of the same MTEC discs will cost you around £60 (delivered).
Are the EBC twice as good? Will they last twice as long? They'd have to, to justify the cost :)
I've run EBC, Black Diamond, Apec, AP Racing, Wilwood, Blueprint and Dephi discs, and for the price, the MTEC discs take some beating. Especially as they cost the same either plain, grooved, drilled or any combination of the above. They can even do curved grooved if you like.
 
There not listed for the Ek9 on there site. Are theres the disc's you usaually supply with your kits?
 
EK9 rear discs are the same as 98 spec DC2 ones and EP3 ones :nice:
 
No... but I can supply these discs you need, and they're manufactured by MTEC and cheaper than MTEC. :)
I can do the discs for £60.00 including delivery.
 
^^^IMO a very good price considering Honda want 50 odd quid per disc!
 
What style of disc are available, the same as those on the MTEC website?
 
Plain, grooved, drilled (spit!), grooved/dimpled for that price.
If you want any of the coatings (black/silver) they're extra.
 
How much are a set of front disc's? And roughly how much more is it for the coated ones?
 
The fronts are £70.00 a pair for grooved.
If you wanted all 4, I'd do them for £125.00 delivered for the set I've got in stock

If you wanted the extra coating they're £20.00 per pair.
