real CTR in CA US ?

I'm about to buy a 2000 real ek9 from Japan.. I live in CAli, US so as you know Dmv is strict about smog tags and all that ****! So before I buy, seller told me that it will be tagged, smogged, & registered..If any body here knows if this is a fraud or legit let me know please! Or does anyone here have one in the US?

He did but had a lot of help legalizing it.
It's hard and harded to do it in Cal. But still can be achived...
N1 Concepts and RCrew Racing import them like nothing...
maybe you should get a hold of them.

ask if they can register it for you.
they can do it, they've done it before...
 
I say get it registered in another state that won't be such a bitch about it. I know they are gonna be kinda bitchy with it not being a US model. I was told (in Tennessee) that you have to prove that it meets safety standards and if you are in a county that requires it (you are in Cali so it's the whole damn state) it needs to pass emissions. I live in a smaller county in TN so no emissions here. If I were to get a JDM Civic, Silvia, etc. I'd just have to tell them it's the same thing as the Civics or 240's or whatever here and go about my business.

you haven't been to Cali yet have ya? **** you can't have nothing on your rear view mirror! If your car sounds loud they pull you over & make you pop the hood.....

I've been there, and I almost got into jail because of throwing a damn cigar on the street lol in a park, I really don't remember lol
