does anyone knows how it feels to have a racing clutch...? Im just wondering if it gets harder or softer to push the clutch down...? Is it nice to have for daily driving or not?

Thanks

there are many levels of racing cluthces, i have one myself, i like it, but if your asking if its nice or not really depends on which level of clutch and personal opinon. i think a sprung 6-puck is the limit of acceptable for everyday use but i have friends who have much much much stiffer clutches for daily use and they dont mind.

A racing clutch is stiffer, more sensitive, and it releases quickly i.e EK9 stock clutch :nice: If you ask me, I would say that for me is a bit tiring in heavy traffic going to meters ahead and then stop again and again but nevertheless I enjoy quick shifting

anyways, the only reason you should ever upgrade your clutch is if your current one cannot hold the torque your engine is making. or cant handle the repeated abuse and gets hot and soft. so if your stock clutch is working so far, just keep it :nice:

oh i see... well my cutch is stiffer and still new....:D

if u ever replace the clutch look into relacing the stock flywheel for one around 10lb.

acceleration & deceleration will become faster. . .:nice:

I Think It Should Also Be Mentioned That When U Change Your Clutch Especially To A Racing Clutch U Will Most Likely Need To Change Your Engine Mounts As Well. The Stock Ones Will Not Be Able To Handle It For Too Long. Believe Me I Went Through 2 Sets Of Stock Mounts B4 I Learned My Lesson.

totally agree...these extra tight mounts will also improve performance! :nice:
