Right, time for an update...it's massive so good luck reading it haha.
When we were fitting the rear toe arms, we noticed that my tyres were starting to get close to the wear marker, so got another set of PS2's ordered. In the mean time went to Glasgow to see some friends, past a gritter and it didn't end well...
Luckily most of it washed off and didn't leave much damage.
Tyres arrived, found a new use for my brothers old room
Then my car got hit at work. Basically the whole drivers side of the car now has scrapes on it, which is really pissing me off. I'll get it sorted when I get the arches done. Worse thing about it is that it was hit by the guys in the shop next to us, and they refuse to do anything about it.
And how far away it was from the shop, still go hit though.
Went to get my tyres fitted, at the same time a wheel with a slight flat spot was mended and all of the wheels ended up getting a refurb.
New VS Old haha
The wheels my mate Graham let me borrow whilst mines were away.
Got the wheels back, sealed them using Poorboys Wheel Sealant to make cleaning easier because NS2's are a pain in the arse to clean haha.
TBH I wasn't happy with the new colour. They were too purple, nothing like the old blue. Fitted them anyway.
Then Steve brought his Coupe out for the summer, went for a Nando's.
Aaaaaaaaaand my alternator failed on the way home. Steve ferried me around all of the scrap yards in Central Scotland to try to find a replacement to get my car back on the road for Uni (including one place where we thought we'd get stabbed, I was genuinely scared), but all the alternators we found were seized.
Eventually got one off Civiclife, which my mate Joe helped me fit. Was a bit of a pain in the arse because of the driveshaft angle because of how low I am, but we just unbolted the coilovers from the strut tops, and I stood on the hub whilst he wiggled the alternator out. He's the guys who's gone full retard in this pic
Car all sorted and running again, decided to strip the interior to clean it. Bushell told me he was coming up to get some wheels for his (now old) EJ9, so fired my seat and harness back in and went to meet him and his Mrs
Then started doing my favourite job in the world...
