my car is 98 pre facelift so obd2a.if i get a 00 engine without loom and ecu will my ecu and loom work with this engine?ie are all sensors on the 00 engine the same and will my loom plug directly in?thanks

cos its a mint engine with 60k genuine miles proven car has auction sheets etc(its WROTE off) and its very cheap engine.i have a b18c crank pistons and rods at home but will be very dear and time consuming to build it so this would be cheaper and easier.
in 2 minds really.

plus youd want about 700 bhp to move my girlfriends g'er ha ha

Your all good. All the plugs will be the same. Everything is just plug and play. Easy swap.

You say the car is wrecked. Are you getting the car or just the motor. I need the heater blower motor from a 2000.

Injector rate is different in 99-00 model B16B. The 97-98 PCT can handle the motor functions without problems but its best to go with corresponding ECM as it was fine tuned even further for the face-lift CTR.

But to answer your questions, 99-00 B16B will work with 97-98 PCT using 97-98 engine harness. All sensors are infact the same and your engine harness will plug directly in.
