question on gear linkages from itr/ctr

are 96 spec teg r gear linkages and shifter the same as 98 spec an are the 2 of those the same as ek9 shifter/linkages which out of the 3 are the best to get a hold of cheers lads
 
98 spec has short shifter as standard i dont think ctr one does... not sure about the 96 spec
 
All have shortshifter. 96 spec is same as 98 spec DC2 linkage.

DC2 linkage fits EG/5th gen Civics
EK9 linkage fits EK/6th gen Civics
 
dc2 does also fit ek's with abit of work, i had to do a little cutting to fit my dc2 shifter in my ek4 linkage
 
Yes of course, with enough work all gear linkages will fit :p But PnP is as I described :)

You're right! Apologies for that.

But I had to know the same thing a while back when I put a B16A in my EG5 and what I found was that DC2 fits 5th gen, EK9 fits 6th gen. Makes sense cause the DC2 is based on a 5th gen. No 1st hand experience with DC2 on 6th gen or EK9 on 5th gen though.
 
They are the same complete linkage so it will work vice/versa , ek9 on eg ,
dc2 on ek9
