I cannot figure out anything from Japanese sites but according to most people rumours, around 8000 EK9s were developed in total, half of them as pre- facelifts and the rest as facelifts. For those who don't know, the chassis number represents the car's order in production and I think the facelift model starts again from 0. Mine is E-EK9-1000312 which means it was the 312th pre-facelift EK9 developed and today it turned 98000 km on the clock

and im a def pre face lift though im a 98 a friend of mine says there is a few 98 spec bits in my car but i dunno bout this he seems to think mine was just as they face lifted them and used newer stuff in the older model??

Theft down here is HORRIBLE, I'm not going to jeopardize my car by posting my full VIN number on here.

EDIT: My chassis VIN was 2 numbers off from my engine block.
