...blown head gasket. Does your coolant look muddy? What does your oil look like, is that also mixing with coolant? If so its most likely a blown head gasket.

Your coolant level must be low either in the over flow tank or in the radiator or both. Correct?

Also, I have had heater hoses crack on me, causing coolant to go all over the place, which is not fun to track down when the crack is a pin hole. lol

hi, no the coolant is full in the radiator and not even half ways between min and max in the resevoir. check the oil, seems grand no white sludgy stuff under the cap either. however oil level is fair high, the owner i bought it off seems to of overfilled it?this is hardly the cause?

correct, hardly the cause, but you should not run it over the top dot on the oil stick. Drain some out to get it to the proper level.

Back to rouge coolant, lol. While the engine is at full temp, can you nudge some coolant hoses and hearter hoses around to see if you may have a small crack in a hose? check them all very closely. ;)

Just looks like oil is seeping out under the rocker cover gasket. Get a new rubber gasket that should sort it.

ok but does seem more like water coming from under the rocker cover gasket. would it still be ok to drive it like this?

I can't imagine how water would end up there. What part of Ireland are you in? If your close to Galway I can take a look at it for you.

start your car up let it get to temp while the hood is up, watch that area in the pic for a few minutes to see where the coolant is coming from. Nudging the black hoses will not damage them, see if that will cause any coolant to spray out. Careful its hot.

yeah wouldnt mind traveling if i could get the time, but would driving it anywhere be risky at the moment? cant understand why its wet, i dont drive the sh**e out of it, barely sees vtec

If its not loosing oil or coolant then should be fine to drive.
