Ive been here for a bit more than a year but never got to post pics of my car. I really wanted to build it a bit before posting it.

This car was built using an EK4 chassis and everything from a RHD EK9 that came with from japland with the roof and rear collision was put into this car. Due to local laws no RHD cars can be drived unless converted to LHD.
Only things missing are the rear seats (looking for them) and minor bits...
This a a little review of what the car has gone through since I bought it on July 2008....

So here are the pics, hope you like it.

How it was when bought:

The day it arrived home for the first time (beside my old EK4)
img0812vu8.jpg

First thing was to fit the CF Spoon style spolier, and change the hood for a OEM ONE

Then changed the Intake and steering system fluid container:

Then noticed that the fender colour wasnt right, and hated the fitment on the lip.
You can see it in this pic:
img1615ua3.jpg

After searching a lot, found a real mugen lip for a decent price, so i bought it. Also wifey got a little scratch on the front bumper it and broke the replica lip I hated so i had the perfect excuse for buying the new one hehehe. and sending the car to paint.
Ended up painting the hood, fenders (changed them for new ones, case one of the old ones had some body work done to it due to som damage), front bumper, one door and lip. When it was finished noticed that the new fenders didnt had the side markers holes on them, so I left it like thet. Im planning to put them when i have some time.

During body work

Tried some wheels meanwhile but offset wasnt right.

It was about to go out...
Some samco hoses fitted, and NGK blue leads installed menawhile.
(pic beside my now former EK4)

Then my new wheels came (only set of these in my country)

Went to a little motor upgrade...
Spoon cams installed and BC cam gears, also new ring where fitted (little oil consumption before), valve guides changed and some little things..

Then changed the exhaust, spoon N1 i found. I gave it a little clean anv voila!!

Yes EK9 came only with RHD, and all LHD EK9 you see are, either RHD to LHD conversions on real EK9, or LHD EK ocnverted to EK9 (just like mine)

Im very pleased with the outcome. I always loved this wheels, and when I had my EK4 always wanted something like that in bronze. It looks amazing in blue too.

The wing I have it, he lip no, it came with the mugen cheap copy. Dont know if gonna sell it or keep it and get some rising brackets. Ill let you know.

Now about the vent, i have to be honest, it came like that when i bought it, im gonna compare it to my old EK4 vent, but i thought it was the same.

Spoon cams, are gonna be tuned still. Next week at the most. Then i could tell.
Havent been hard on the car with the cams in yet.

The EK4 came form factory with moonroof and type K ineterior (black or dark grey)

Thanks for the comliments guys.

Great progress on your car so far!

Thanks...

nice
could you get a pic of the clearance of the header please?

Clearance is very good, ill try to snap a pica later en include it in here. When looking for a header it was one of my main concerns, and this was one of the best clearance performance header around.

Where and how much did you pay for the manifold?:)
Lovely car

I bought it from a vendor in a US forum, Honda-tech.com. Its a RMF narrow header replica. Paid a bit under U$400 in the sates. I know it a replica but construction and materials are very good.
