How's it going? I'm currently addressing the robustness of the oil system for the new year, Mugen baffled sump on order and looking at an oil cooler kit.
Going to be buying a MOCAL 13 Row thermostatic oil cooler setup and since I am only home for two weeks next time, where my DC2 is, I need to install the kit in that period and want to make sure I have everything at hand.
Are braided lines recommended or are they more show purposes in this application as I guess the oil shouldn't be reaching more than 120 oC?
I heard about mounting the cooler on rubber feet to prevent unwanted vibration, Anyone done so?
Can you buy a sandwich plate with thermostat, infeed & outfeed ports for cooler AND temp take off point?
More importantly I would like idea's and advice on how to the mount the thing to the car with as little impact on the OEM integrity as possible.
Any help is appreciated!
Cheers
Kris
