Just wondering what are some of the peak torque that you guys have seen from a B16A. I recently did a dyno-tune of the Unichip in my EK4 (on a Dynopack) and I'm amazed at the peak torque that my mildly-fettled 214,000km-old B16A puts out.
Yeah thats a bit of a keen figure IMO...it all comes down to the dyno to be fair...a dyno-dynamics RR will give you the most accurate figures for sure!
My B18C6 with bolt-ons & remap "only" makes 135lb/ft from 1800cc on such a RR. Not record-breaking for sure, but VERY realistic & honest
mine made 260 turbo of course and i think that was an uncorrected number so about 240lb ft... On NA cars i have seen about 140lb on built motors...
Damn I wish I have 240lb ft... but then my current fuel economy of 14 km per litre (39.5 mpg) would be sorely missed
Blinx, you havent told him that you cant boost long enough to get bad average ecomomy/tank mileage! lol. you go through the gears in no time.
Mine got 117lbs/ft there lately..at 7499 rpm i think.
