Picked this eg6 up almost a year ago but was abroad for the most part of this year so only really got cracking with it in the last few weeks. Thread copied from honda-haven so tried to put it all into one post as best i could.
October 12: After months of searching I finally found a good clean Eg6 SiR and even better the only mods this car has ever had are a set of str spooms, jasma axle back and a decat. The cars very clean inside and out also has some nice factory extras like folding mirrors, LSD etc. Still has all the bronze glass and the stickers from when it was imported from Japan too. Engine is very healthy good cross over and strong pull out of it for what it is so its a perfect base I think, absolutely delighted with it. I have plenty of plans for the future but first thing on the list is to get it through the nct think all it will need is a cv boot and some new rubber. Also ordered a service kit from Adam @ Japstyle which should here next week. Going to have a bit of fun with it for a while before I swap the engine out for a b18 *:vtec:
Plenty of plans in the pipeline so keep on eye on this thread, will try get some decent pics up over the weekend *:thumbup:

November 12: got my hands on a set of these honda access eg6 sir 5 piece floor mats thanks to brian (ef2) for delivering them to my door yesterday evening *:thumpup:
also got a set of Desmond Evo Regamaster's which will be refurbed before they go on the car, came with a set of stickers aswel. I cant wait to get them done and see what they look like on the car.
and sold the spooms that were on the car so picked up these genuine Mugen RNR's today. They will probably be for sale again once I get the Rega's refurbed. I'll try get pics of them fitted later.
December 12: picked up a set of endless zeal function coilovers on the cheap they need a bit of work and iv to find some burst ones for spares etc as load of the locking collars are cracked or split which is meant to be a common problem with them. I think iv got most of the bits i need sourced now tho.
There's no leaks which is the main thing so hopefully will be worth the effort when iv them cleaned up and ready to go on the car. and I hope there not too stiff as iv heard there very stiff for an everyday but we'll see! anyone have any burst zeal coilovers let me know or a c spanner for them would be nice too *:thumpup:
September 13: These came up for sale and couldnt let them go... 15" 4x100 Volk Rays ce28n, Iv always wanted a set of these wheels! Also the regas were sold a while back and the mugens werent really tickling my fancy but these should really set it off.
Starting to get the ball rolling on this now. Was busy today got my advan ad08's put on, also got some nice steel neo chrome wheel nuts off Adam at Japstyle and a doughnut gasket and MTF gearbox oil arrived thismorning from Backyward Performance. Should have the ce28n's, fitted along with my decat and fujitsubo legalis-r cat back, tomorrow evening or sunday so will try get a few snaps of it then.
I was also down getting a quote for a full respray today so time to start saving again. Im having all the glass taken out and the whole car resprayed in Granada Black Pearl. Hoping to have it looking 'minty mint' just like it did 20 years ago :smiles:*
Next job is to get my zeal coilovers sorted, iv got loads of spare springs but i dont think i have the spring rates I want so if anyone knows where i could get some zeal or swift springs that will fit the zeal shocks let me know or if anyone has a burst set or anything send me on a pm thumpup1
Looks a lot better than the RNR's I think and with the new exhaust in replace for my 2" mid pipe the car seems to be breathing far better and feels a lot quicker. Also handling far better with the new rubber I know it's only an exhaust and a set of tyres but honestly feels like a different car now!
Next on the list is to get the coilovers back together and fitted.
