Opinions on the skunk2 megapower exhaust

Ok people,
ive been offered one of these and am thinking of getting it at the weekend.
Its 60mm.
Is anyone else running one of these on their car and is it any good?...
Can you hear the radio while just tipping around or do you have to wear earplugs al the time?...
Opinions appreciated.

From what ive heard it suppose to be quite loud. Its not what i would go for but thats me.
 
i would steer clear

its like having a subwoofer on constantly

not a nice experience but its ok when the baffle is in the back

sounds class without baffle from the outside but not so much on the inside
 
Sorry, i should've said i'l be getting the baffle with it.
My cat will be going in shortly as well as ive to go for an NCT test.
Do they offer a good power increase compared to lets say a twinloop system or equivalent?.....
I will be tracking the car next year but dont want to fork out on another system for that;)
 
I had it for about 6 months! utter hardship if your doing a long journey!
Its a non stop drone!!!

grand for tippin around and people outside the car love the noise off it!

eventually got to me tho and swapped it for the twinloop and still dont regret it!

If you want a loud exhaust even with the silencer this is good but ya will get sick of it eventually!
 
Give it another year from now and i will be permanently converting the car for track use only.
I think i can stick it out for that long.

make sure and get the removable baffle

good set of earmuffs will set you back 20 odd pound:nerv:

Im using earplugs at the moment!!
my current exhaust has the baffles removed, with no silencers and it's the loadest bloody thing around.
Even one of the tuners commented on the loudness of it.
Anyway, having earplugs is a good excuse for not listening to the missus nagging:blabla: :D:D
 
Ive got one on my coupe, ****ing seriously loud on the motorway! still quite loud with the baffle in but is manageable IMO. Sounds good when you put the foot down though
 
I bit the bullett and got one of these at the weekend.
It's a lot quieter than my old heap of junk and very practicle with the silencer in.
:)
 
They are loud and I dont think they are that good by what I have heard.
 
Seems good enough to me, ive had mine on for 2 years and its still absolutly fine. Gave me really good gains too
