If you were to get one from Ireland do you have to pay VRT or re-register the car? Just wondering as your current 9m is still on Irish plates! How do you get away with it?

Na, just need to get it registered.

Get a v5 form from dvla
get it mot'd
pay registration fee (around £60)
pay for your 6 months or 1 year tax
hand v5 form in
Recieve new UK registration number and tax in the post 2-3 days later.
get your 12",6" plates made and your good to roll.

As for the last part will pm ;)

Been wanting to do my bike test for ages but just never got round to taking lessons. My brother in law recently passed his test and came round the other night on his bike and thats gave me the push i need ;)
So makes sense if i sell the 9, get a bike and a mint ef :win:
Pointless the 9 just sitting there all the time hardly moving and my fiancee cant drive it because of insurance and kazz diff reasons :lol:
With an ef she could use it as well if she had to and i'd have the bike for those summer day blasts :D and keep the ef as a mint show car :p
 
although its a sin to sell the 9, with the money for it your getting another vtec and a bike so its twice the amount of fun :win: and as for them summer day blasts, there's nothing like them on the bike, no car will even come close, and when your hanging off the bike trying to get it to take the corners faster, theres no better felling :nice: i want another one now lol what would you be going for if you were to get a bike?

a yamaha man :angry: im honda through n through :p the r6 are great bikes tho, the power is just unreal, with a top speed of about 160mph, its more than enough to start out with instead of the r1 but its your call mate, either way you'll love it and hooked for life :))

yeah never been on either man, like the CBR's as well, will wait till i have my licence and have a go of a few and see what i like as just now just going on looks and owners reviews/vids etc.
And yeah agree a 600 will be more than enough for me to start with lol.
Got the bug and doubt its going away so doin somethin about it :p
 
the bikes will be getting a bit cheaper now as well coming into the winter so it would be a good time to buy :nice: if your coming to ireland to have a look any any ef's, let us no as it would be good to meet ya (not in a gay way lol) since we chat every day lol

that bike is trousers down material :nice: i can vouch for david and this car gav as he lives only a few miles for me, it really is a tidy car and you wont be disappointed if you come over :nice:

gav theres a white ef shell forsale in belfast for 350 quid,blown d series engine would be good for a engine swap B18 lol
