Right, so my oil squirters were catching the crankshaft very slightly after removing them for the hone and refitting them. I don't want to bend them in case of failure, looks like they have been slightly marked.

Do I replace them or block up the holes. I know they are used for cooling the bottom of the OEM cast pistons and now I'm running Wiseco Forged Pistons I "apparently" don't need them according to the US forums.

part number 15280PR3000 is what Im on about.

Thoughts please ?

Mine are bent to clear Pistons. Carefull bending them and you'll be fine. I think I've got a spare set of you cock it up.

Catching the crankshaft? Sounds like they've been bent already.
As Jesse says the clearance problem is normally between squirters and piston

Yeah the old engine builder messed them up when he honed the block now they catch the crank slightly. I'm unsure whether to keep them. With forged pistons laskey have said there is no real plus or minus to removing them on my setup. More oil pressure, less heat dissipation into my oil so lower oil temps etc. I don't want to weaken the metal by bending them, too many horror stories and my current engine shop that had the block in for checking over said they can break of.
