Downloading in Kazaa or Lime Wire is different than downloading in Utorrent? because past years I use to download movies at kazaa or lime wire and our internet bills went up..they say because of downloading :(.... my mom's giving me a 200 hits combo for that and force to pay the internet bill..... so I need to make sure first, before I download lots of anime :)
 
well, my ISP doesn't charge for amount of downloading. We pay like $95 US for 3Mbps cable internet, expanded basic cable TV (like 80 channels) for all the TV's, and Digital Cable TV (like 150 channels) for the one in the Den. That bill never really changes. I've been downloading anime for about 9 months and only once did the bill go up. It went up from $90 to $95 when our internet went up from 640Kbps to 3Mbps. I guess ya'll have a weird ass ISP. What kind of internet do you have?

it sounds like your charged based on bandwidth use, contact your ISP and ask if they offer a flat rate. 200 hit combo :lol:

we are using wooshnet cable internet....
 
Well, I don't know what to tell ya dude. Neither of the cable ISP's I've had have charged by bandwidth usage. You pay so much a month here and you get unlimited usage.

well im going to find out soon, im downloading gundam seed destiny now.... so if my bills go up then i have no choice, i will just buy dvd then....
 
well, the fansub downloading that me and blinx do isn't even on DVD. This is crap that isn't even out in North America yet. I just don't see why your ISP would be charging for bandwidth usage. Does it normally stay one price under normal circumstances?

Also, shouldn't we be talkin about this in the Anime thread?

techy you always have the best desktops, is higurashi kai over yet? im waiting for th end before i start :)
 
nope, 17 eps in. I just go ahead and watch them since the suspense makes each ep more enjoyable though I'd rather watch 1 or eps a day instead of a week. That's how I saw the original Higurashi. That was back before I was using torrents and could only get one or two eps a day and it was great.

oh and what anime is your wall from your desktop from. I believe that girl is voiced by the same Seiyu as the girl in my current laptop background. I found a pic that was a crossover of Shana (the girl in mine) from Shakugan no Shana, Nagi from Hayate no Gotoku (also voiced by her), and then the girl in yours so I'm assuming they are all voiced by Rie Kugimiya.
 
oh and just use an S-Video cable and properly configure it from your graphics settings. It's actually pretty easy to set up.

her name is Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière from Zero no Tsukaima :nice: and yup Louise and Shana have the same voice actress...Rie Kugimiya... I like her voice so Kawaii :D

if you haven't watch the second season of Zero no Tsukaima (Title: Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi) you should watch it ..:clap:
 
my computer dosen't have the plug for s-video cable, do I need to buy a card that has s-video plug? so I can plug it in my computer?
