Sourcing OEM parts is hard enough unless you have pockets deep enough to buy Original parts from Honda themselves.

7 years ago the trend was bodykit styling-i was digging up old photos, and realised how much i sold my OEM kit for at prices anyone would kill for nowadays (all parts were either new or in pristine condition-how i wanted to break down and cry today and hit my head against the wall when i saw these.

Thought i'd share it with everyone else what an idiot i had been....

Sold on eBay for £21


99-00 OEM Black Side Skirts part number: (71800-S02-A000R) & (71850-S02-A000L)

Sold on eBay for £10


99-00 OEM Black Rear Bumper part number: (71501-S01-A010)

Sold on eBay for £21


99-00 Brand New OEM 99-00 Rear Lip part number: (71511-S04-0000)

Sold for £130 (at least this got sold for reasonable price)

Oh how i wish i could turn back time now......

At the time, OEM parts were worthless-everyone wanted bodykits-just looking back now brought tears to myself

To think that i travelled 700 total miles in 1 day to pick up second hand parts for all the above that costed me FIVE times as much

Haha the old bodykit era. 7 years ago I used to run about in a 1.6 Escort with a WRC bodykit that was painted Scooby blue........I thought I was the man

Would never be seen dead in a car like that now, but like you say back then things were very different.........like I was young haha

Yes realli sucks....but then-who'd have thought trends changed so suddenly and the era of jap aggressive bodykit styling died within a couple of years? Still remember the days of motor features on Max Power-to think that i actually thought some of the cars featured were cool........

Guess it's something to talk about now
