The trip looks great. Wish I was there!

How much did you all end up spending, all in?

How much did you all end up spending, all in?

I had the furthest to travel and did the most laps, think it cost about £1500 all in

Although tbh can't put a price on that trip, such a good place! Be back next year for sure :)

Morning all... me and Ian got back yesterday after a 'mostly' safe-ish trip home (i'll let Ian explain). Had a wicked time all round and it was great to have so many 9's & owners there. Really can't beat seeing some of the locals faces to a row of EK9's cruising down the road.

Was a bit of a shame that everyone had to leave after the weekend, the heavy drinking seemed to calm down a bit after that for some reason... lol.

Thanks to everyone who's posted pics of mine so far :D

Just blanket grabbing all the pics of 9's I can find... will post em up shortly with links to sites with more!

Right... well here are some that I've found so far. Bit of a selection of the best of everyone's from the first weekend :

Some links for finding pics (and where I found all of these):

Ringportal Calendar

^ By far the best one... choose your day first and then it lists all the photographers about that day - most of the below not included however.

NurburgringPhotos.com | Your one-stop shop for photos of your car or bike on the Ring

^ Handy because you can just enter your reg!

Will also post my own pics as soon as I've loaded them all off the camera (took far too many )

Some fantastic pics about there. Need to get mine up and when i get chance.

Was wicked with everyone over had such a laugh... Especially the first night/afternoon.... :nerv: I believe there are videos and photos??? Hey it was my 25th!

Anyway as time said my problem started here

It all started arround Belgium when accerlarting in 5th arround 75-85mph the car started shaking and vibrating. Wasn't toooo bad but i was noticing it. Got into the uk and i noticed it was still doing it so decided to try VTEC see if it was my engine. Nailed it in 3rd and arround that speed again car veared across the road and i nearly lost control of it. Honestly felt like my wheels where about to fall off. Car was vibrating and rumbling like crazy. Pulled onto the hard shoulder had a look coulnd't see anything wrong or feel anything wrong.

Proceeded on my way very gingerly and all seemed ok again. Pulled in the next services had a good look arround couldn't see anything.

Gingerly drove another 50miles occasional rumbles nothing as bad then noticed it was always arround 80 in 5th, thought it was my engine so tried it in 4th at different rpm again it was at 80mph... Tried 3rd and definitly damaged something then... Again felt like my wheels where about to fall off and the car was difficult to control. Managed to get it home driving arround 40 to 50 on motorway applying as little throttle as poss.

Got home and jacked it up this time suspect wheel bearing but there is no play at all in the camber north south direction if your facing the wheel. There is play on the Toe east west direction... Like a shot wheel bearing. Looked at my tyre and i have very abnormal inner tyre wear... My setup was perfect before germany so somthing is out and i've noticed it pulling slightly on the way home.

Think it may be my track rod ends either inner or outer... I remember my boot was shagged on that side since i'd picked it up so no idea how long the boots gone... So could be my R/H side inner...

The inner cv joint went on my dc2 so check it. The roller bearings inside the joint wear into the coupling and end up wedging and causing the whole front end to shake as the cv joint does not move back and fourth as it should.

Also as you mentioned, track rod ends can cause the symptons you explained. Hope you get it sorted

my car had similar problems before i changed the main rear arm bushings and got the toe and camber sorted set as the p/s rear wheel was way out and balding thew dung out of the tyre. maybe your bushes have split with all the sportly driving? hope you get it sorted soon though.
