Welcome to the forum, nice cars, gutted about the EK4, there are some idiots out there! Very nice DC2 aswell :). I respect people who work at cars like that and try/carry out all the work themselves. Nice one! :D

I haven't been down there for ages (been driving the DD mostly). That's ruined my summer. Think I'll have to make a few trips over the tops toward sheffield :(

I know, and they've reduced the speed to 50mph.. No chance of any fun!
Yeah I use the roads to shefield, we should go for a drive in the summer mate :))
 
Haha you guys are about to get the best news ever!!!

1. The cameras have been up for 6-8 months now BUT never switched on. (unfortunatley they are about to go live)

2. Even when they are on they have positioned the cameras in such a way it doesn't hinder me when i go up for a rip. I go from the Macc side up to the C&F pub and then back down. there is 4 average speed traps along the whole stretch from Macc to Buxton BUT if you drive through the first starting camera then blast up as normal and stop in the pub you never reach the end of the first speed trap!!!!!! Litrally as you pull into the pub the end of the speed trap is 200 meters further down the road haha!!

Only things that scare me on that road are sheep and police helicopters now.
