The EK9 model variant doesn't seem to be an option and I've checked all the plugs listed for 1.6 model Civics and none of them are the ones required for an EK9.

Do you do anymore, or are you going to add the EK9 to the list?

The NGK plugs should either be:

If your going copper use : NGK BKR7E-11 (Pre gapped)
If your going Iridium use: NGK BKR7eIX-11 (Pre gapped)
Or Platinum use: NGK PFR7G-11S (I think pre gapped)

or Info from the EK9 manual:

Honda Genuine Parts - NGK - BCPR7E-11

EK9 Honda Civic Type R Specific:

NGK - PFR7G-11
DENSO - PK22PR-L11

Thats all subject to me remembering it all correctly! :D

^ i had the same problem when i was browsing the other day.

I can see the BKR6E-11 but none of the EK9 specific ones.

Am I supposed to be using the car lookup tool? or another search function?

I was only looking them up using the Car lookup tool thing, thats linked in your first post, an I can't find em I'm afraid. I selected the following:

HONDA
CIVIC (96--01)
1.6
Then tried them all but no joy :(

I'm not being an arse btw, just thought I'd mention it as you might be loosing possible sales because of this :((

It's good to know if there is a problem, so thanks for the input. I can tell you're not doing what most people do which is to get the lookup put infront of them and then ask what they need and how much it costs.

I used this one

Opie Oils - car oil and motorbike oil sales and recommendations

According to the look up, you're memory is pretty much right although the plugs it recommends are one heat stage different and it says they should be the BKR6E-N-11 in standard cars, but it's not going to make too much of a problem to use a 7 rather than 6.

NGK Spark Plug BKR6E-N-11 (Opie Ref: 5724)

Let me know if I'm missing something or getting it wrong.

Cheers

Tim

Yeh thats the lookup I used, I did find the Heat Rating 6 ones that you have posted. But I took the info from the EK9 manual in my top post so I go with those.

I'm not sure if the BKR6E-N-11 is okay for standard cars as I've only ever used the 7's :nerv: I think the heat range 6 is for VTi's B16A's and not B16B's I could be wrong though!

Would it be difficult to add an EK9 variant to the dropdown list and add the sparkplugs I listed? I'm sure alot of people would order them from you then what with the Members discount and whatnot. Infact if you do the NGK BKR7eIX-11 or the NGK PFR7G-11S I'll order 4 from you as I need em changing soon anyway :))

search plugs for the integra. the PFR7G-11S are listed then. I have had this problem on other websites when trying to order the correct plugs.

We've got the NGK BKR7eIX-11 and the NGK PFR7G-11S, so make an order when you are ready.

As we're still getting our heads around the NGK plugs, we're taking the references straight from the catalogues we have, but as you guys know the EK9s well, you're going have a better idea about the plugs than us, or probably NGK too.

I'll mention adding the EK9 separately, but as I have no idea about programming a website or look up guide, I'll need to leave that to someone else.

I'm ordering some now with another 2 litres of Motul 300v too! :nice:

Any discount offers going on at the moment before I click the purchase button? :p

No real offers on, but if you use APRILFREESHIP, you'll get free shipping.
