Well honda has confirmed it will be making a new Type-R for 2015 and it's probably going to be a 1.6 Turbo as used in the WTCC cars. Well here is the article any who.

It will be a shame to think one day there be no VTEC(

It will probably still have vtec on it just not the same system we are all used too as every petrol Honda engine in the UK has some sort of vtec

*slight edit - racing spec engine will rev to 8500.... hopefully they will keep that for production aswell, although probably unlikely
