New Member, No EK9.... Yet

Hi All

Figured it was worth registering here for both knowledge from existing members and to help in the search for an EK9.

Had quite a few Japanese cars, but an EK9 has always been on the list of a car to own and experience.

I come from AE86's, having owned 7 previously and on my 8th now, currently undergoing a bare shell restoration. Also currently own A GDB-E Subaru WRX STI Spec C 16in, which were in period the cars sent to Prodrive and others to convert to Group N rally cars. The black V4 WRX STI was around 400hp with RA V6 drivetrain.

Previously had an EG hatchback with DC2 drivetrain which was a great car, but an EK9 has always been the halo car to park alongside the AE86 and Spec C.

So I'll be here to read the forums, gain knowledge and hopefully find a car for sale. I'm looking for a pre-facelift in Championship White if anyone is interested in selling up.

I do love an ae86. My dream garage was an ae86 and an ek9 when i was growing up .
But got turned of ae86, all my friends uncles said ' its cool to own an 86 but your will be glad to get back in the civic'.
