Its got 60k miles on it
Full spoon exhaust system with street backbox
Spoon 4-1 manifold
DC sports induction kit , but i just fitted standard airbox and spoon panel filter
Tein coilovers
Rota 16" alloys with toyo rubber.

Did a few little jobs today and checked compression on cylinders, got 220psi on cylinders 1 and 2 and 215psi on 3 and 4. Is this about right?
Next job is timing belt and tensioner when i get a minute.

Looking really good man :) , another ek9 in scotland , how does it compare to the jordan ?

Its much more raw than the Jordan if that makes sense lol, Pulls much harder in vtec than the jordan did, sounded really good in vtec with the dc induction kit but hardly any noise now i put the standard airbox with spoon panel filter. The Spoon exhuast makes hardly any noise. Once i do the timing belt i will be getting it on the rollers to check bhp and torque figures.

Looks good!

See so many of them with broken number plate holders, I've just got round to replacing and spraying my new one after I snapped them!

Oh and Toyo :(

Nice ride man, don't forget to add it to the members rides forum :D

Thanks for all the good replys! Well happy with the car.

Sandwiches: You dont like toyo tyres? The only problem i have with them is they are 205/50r16 and thay catch on the mud guards a little bit which is annoying.

I phoned up honda about the rear number plate recess and they said they are still made and are £60. I didint think that they were made anymore???

Welcome and nice car. I have a spoon street style exhaust also and I find it too quite gonna change it.

No, Toyo T1-R are rubbish. Sidewalls are made of cheese.

When I enquired about a number plate recess; Honda told me it was no longer made... odd. The VTI part number is the same but I don't think it has the two clips on them.

Yeh it is really quiet, i just put on a de-cat yesterday and found that helped a bit. i have always had loud exhausts so find this to be a nice change.

I thought that was wierd, the guy at honda was in the parts system through my chassis number so it should be the one with the clips on it? i am gona check to make sure b4 i buy one tho.

looks well... got T1Rs during the week but haven't fitted them yet so will have to wait and see..

passed you on Holburn street not long ago, i was in my pre facelift EK9?! looks clean! would look better with a import plate in the normal position on the front though :nice:
