hi iam knew here i am 17 this may so i will be driving soon and me and my dad are looking for the civics's in my tile but very cheep as my first car. i am jap mad that why i want a civic but as you can tell the 1.3 to 1.4 liters.

i am located in Southampton Hampshire

On the car front there's a for sale section in the forum but ebay/gumtree are best for like first car cheap civics. As for getting one... I'm 18 so I know where I'm coming from with this: insurance will be stupid high, like 3k if not more if its your first year, especially if your thinking of putting mods on the insurance.

I've got a years no claims now and I can barely get it under 2k with just alloy wheels as a mod.

Still, worth a shot
 
thanks mate i wont mod it as ones you got to put on insurance just little bits like a gear knob/stickers and tidying up
 
Don't want to put you off, but have you tried to run an insurance quote for a Civic yet? They are silly money for young lads like you...
 
every car will be silly money for a new driver i think you just got to shop around
 
Hey mate,

Try Elephant, and Do things like;

Put your parents on the quote,
Put the Annual miles at 5000-6000
say it's parked on the street (silly I know, but it usually makes it cheaper)
SOMETIMES if you say it has Safety features IT MAKES IT MORE EXPENSIVE
Add Pass Plus? (if you got it), I'm also not sure as to how much this will affect it.


That's what I did, Got a Bit cheaper.

Also with Civic's

Mine was imported and wasn't under anything that was in the selection box,

Therefore I just put it as a 1.6 SI, and it came out cheaper than VTI's or whatever,

Just some ideas :)
