Hello Forum!
My name is Matt, I'm 21 and live in South Shropshire.
I've been stalking this forum since I got my provisional license four years ago but it never felt quite right to join until I bought myself a Civic.
Recently I snapped up a Civic Jordan so I felt it was about time I joined you guys!

P.S
That introduction video made me laugh so much!

:welcome: to the forum Salop lad, good to see another member from Shropshire :win:

Will upload a photo soon guys. Car is currently stripped down (well the back end anyway) in the garage having a good look over it and starting some repair work. Cannot wait to get it out and use it everyday!!

Hey Yardy@37, where abouts in Shropshire are you based?

Here's Jordan #238 the day I pick it up. One lady owner from new, 106K miles. Garaged all its life and its only done 2k miles in the past 4 years. The car is mint, inside and out! - Well apart from the arches, they need a wee bit of work. Im really impressed with the build quality of this Honda, everything comes off so easily and simply, just a shame they scrimped on the rust proofing

Hey Matt, I live in Whitchurch north Shrops. Jordan's looking clean mate, how bad are the rear arches?

Ah sweet, I live in the hills of Church Stretton.
Well the OAP owner claimed it was rust free underneath. Being a panel beater I had doubts of this when I noticed a few tiny bubbles on the outer arch but when I actually felt the inner arch it seemed solid. Once I had bought the car I got it up on the ramp just to check it out, thinking I'll only need to treat the rust, I found that from a bit of stripping and cleaning the arches they were too far gone so I've been spending the last few evenings after work cutting them out and shaping new panels. The actual 1/4 arches are good, its just the inner arches that are corroded. Ah well it'll be solid when I'm finished with it :nice:
