Hi guys, After months of looking for a honda civic ek9 ( you might remember i was trying to px mu audi a4 avant tdi for one ) I ended up with a honda S2000, its a 1999 car 85k miles, great service history, totally standard, but what a car!!! im not sure if its because ive not driven a honda civic ek9 in years but its just seems to handle and go really well, im currently on winter tyres but the grip is really good, i'll get some pics up soon when it decides to stop raining.

Good choice, will look forward to pics! good luck with it mate. Maybe see it some time on my many trips around Scotland! :)

i'll go and take some iphone pics just now and get some better ones later in the week

sweet mate cheers .. hopefully looking at getting one around september time :D

Does your S2000 have hard top? I would advise that because I had a Z3 and a hard top really helped keep the leaks out during the winter season :)

if you have never driven an s2000 before the performance will knock you for six

they are so different from FWD

looks great, some lump of an engine-f20c?
bet your having a blast seeing as you haven't been around a performance car in a while.

i know its an obvious question but how does it compare to your ek9?

Looks nice mate, loving S2k's at the moment, can't wait for more pics. Any specific plans for it? :D

ive not driven the ek9 in years but the ek9 is my dream car, i couldnt see past it for years, the handling was just perfect for me, no understeer, no oversteer, just perfect, bearing in mind i only ever used it on the street, i had a DC5 last feb and just didnt like it, it was fast but just didn't handle the same as my 9 so i sold it after 8 weeks, but the s2000 seems to be more like my old 9, im just still scared on the rwd but i'll get used to it.

future plans are just coilovers and light wheels, and maybe an induction kit for a bit of a growl.

i know its a common colour and black seats aren't to everyone's taste, but i think the history of the car and the condition is way more important.
