Hey guys i have a ITR with Spoon calipers, recently they needed to be replace i tooked it to a local honda specialist. They said they will replace my current ones (which i dunno what they are) with ITR stock pads. After replacing them when my car reverse. I relise the brake pad moves up and down and hits the calipers and makes noise clicking sound when i drive.

I brought the car back and they said its normal to make sound and to have room for it to move up and down. He said other brakes have a spring in it that keeps it quite but mine is the ITR brakes and that its sports brakes and it should make sound....I never experience this with neither my both civics anyone help?

Does stock ITR brakes fit into spoon calipers i have a feeling it doesnt thats y it moves???

I'm pretty sure thats normall with the spoon calipers, i've read quite a few posts about this before. IIRC it has something to do with cooling.

i'm sure another member will clear this up for you.

I have the same thing.

They are ment to move.

Oh ok cool thanks for the reply guys!

Because ive changed pads for my ek and fd civic on stock calipers b4 and they didnt make any noise got me worried.

Can someone tell me how come my old brake pads didnt make any noise?

Cheers

Probly loads of crap from the road got up in there and physically stopped them from moving?
