hi guys,really enjoying the forum so far,
im Pearse a Mechanic/electrisian from Omagh,tyrone
Just bought a late '99 Facelift ek9 type Rx VSM
My 11th B-series honda,previously
3 jdm dc2s
1 prelude type S
1 ef9 siR
4 1.8vti mb6
1 1.8vti-S mb6

you've been here for like 8-9 months lol, but welcome anyway, glad your enjoying it :D
 
Def the most comfortable honda iv had,up there as one of the fastest also
a modded b16b is a very fast revving engine,weird tho as it is very econonical also :)
think im in love,hopefully weather clears up t i get some good photos
 
Also spoke to you on RMS about my old UK teg I was selling. Look forward to the pics of your wagon. I prefer my ek9 to the dc2 even though the dc2 had more torque and a little more bhp I like the way the b16b revs and the better kick onto vtec.

B16b ek9 with the right mods and some further weight reduction is a bit quicker than your average dc2;)
 
yea thats me, I sold the manifold last week there. The car looks perfect to me the way it sits atm, has it been stroked to 1.8 or anything as I remember seeing a similar silver ek9 at Irish drag racing that had been stroked but it might not have been a facelift

Seen this car at the weekend, looked very nice. one question though, what exhaust is on it as it sounded strange for a honda? i know from your previous cars it will be kept clean anyway! :nice:
 
cheers guys,naw dont think shes stroked,just standard b16b block,
Has a 4-1 Oem 98 spec integra type r Header,2.5" decat section,
oem B pipe with baffles removed,2.5" underaxle straight exit for now,
i made it until my new jap 4" exit comes in next couple days,
brave note out of her at the moment now,sick on vtec lol goes very well
