I'm glad you went to the track with your EK9! the photos are beautiful!

What type of wheels you used on the front?

So whats your impression of a EK9 at the track? How did you felt t he handling ?

Thanks for sharing the photos! Nice car!

Well done mate! Nice photos. Hope you enjoy it.:nice:
What suspension are you using?

nice pics man, thanks for sharing!

nice...:nice:

any particular reason why u use diff wheels front to back? :ek9:

currently, i am running on ground control coil overs over koni yellow shocks. it feels great on the streets, but noticed that they're a bit soft on the track.

actually, i had no idea there was gonna be some photographers there, so i put some r compound tires on those front rims. so basically, i have r compounds on the fronts and street tires in the rear. i thought it'd be fun to have a set up like that. (warning, if you are a beginner, i highly suggest to avoid doing that. it will give you tons of oversteer if you do not know how to control it.) had i known, i would've put them on some matching rims hehehe.

just incase anyone is curious, those wheels are off of a 1996 mazda millenia. they are 15.6 with a 50 offset and they weight roughly about 10lbs

why did u put different rims??

basically, because i was messing around with different tires. i have r compound tires in the front on different rims and street tires in the rear on my "daily" rims. it gave the car MAJOR oversteer, but it was exactly what i was looking for.

once again, i do NOT recommend doing that unless u know what you are doing and you know how the car will react to it

How did your lap times where affected by this change? :nerv:

How did your lap times where affected by this change? :nerv:

personally, i kinda like it :)
may not be as fast as i could be with all 4 r compounds on, but then again, i only had a pair at the time and i kinda like how the back broke loose when i wanted it to. of course, like i said, the lap times weren't all that fast though...but fun :)
i didn't spin out, but i know for a fast i could've if i didn't know what to expect.

which R compound tires did you run up front? what are your spring rates?
