My Silver Ej9 Project

Well lads,
Have not done much since last time I update just bought a few bits that need to be sprayed.

Bought a set of wings which need to be tidy'd up a bit and sprayed

Bought a set of jap metal pressed plates and a BYS style front bumper.

And heres the plates,

Me and A friend decided to make a gearknob for the car in engineering, so we got material and worked away. Here are the results, still needs a bit of cleaning but the over all outcome is good.

Threaded and fitted Fitted...

Well guys,
Just a bit of an update,

Me and my friend separated my headlights to paint the inserts.
Here is the insert before:

And here are the two after being sprayed, decided to paint them a dark grey rather than black.(Not a major difference)

Attached the lens.

And when its all done, as the hinge on the drivers side headlight was damaged I decided to leave the insert out until i got another headlight.

Just bought a few red engine bay washers to give a bit of colour to the engine bay.

So I am trying now to clean up the exterior of the car so I got a new boot, back bumper, wings.

Also swapped a few small things I had laying around for a 4-2-1 manifold and an s20 gearbox.

So we fitted the wings and test fitted the front bumper and then began work on the boot.

Removed the 1.4 badges.

Put the type R spoiler back on.

1 question which one would look nicer the type R spoiler or the standerd one tilted ???

Everything fitted and working perfect. Here is some pics of it outside with my friend VI Rs Iain, once we were finished.

Hello guys,
So Nothing much has happened since, I am hoping that everything will come together by the end of this week, if it goes to plan.

So I got a new set a headlights

Plan on fitting them when all the bumpers are done.
Also I bought a set of standard shocks with 40mm tenzo r springs as I wanted to raise the car because the roads around my area are awful and I want to try avoid damaging the new bumper as much as possible. These will also be fitted during the week

Bought paint supplies to spray the bumpers. My friend has experience spraying so he said he will do me a favor.

Brought the bumpers down to my friends, they need to be cleaned up a small bit, then preped and primed.

Hello guys,
Been I while since I updated this. I have not done anything major just a small few bits.
We fitted the shocks and springs and test fitted the bumpers. I have to say that I am pleased with the ride height and I love the look of the bys style bumper.

Since the weather was great out I decided to clean out all the interior. I removed the gear gaitor to clean it because it looked faded and with a quick clean it came out great.

I decided to jdm my rear lights here is the result. I am happy with the result.

Coming along nicely man. Bys bumper will look tidy once sprayed. Needs smaller wheels imo but car still looks clean as a whistle man

Thanks mate, I hope to find another set of wheels in the future and spraying will be done soon.

Hello guys,

So the time has finally come to get the bumpers sprayed. I packed the bumpers in the van to be sent of the the sprayers.

So after a week and a half I went in and collected the bumpers, Put them in the van and brought them home. Happy with the out come they look great.

Put the mesh on the bumper.

Put the bumpers on. Fitment is not perfect, but looks great. Have to refit the type r spoiler. Pics are not great and weather doesn't help haha.

Hopefully get an new set of wheels in the future, was thinking on the lines of slipstreams, all suggestions welcome ???
