I'm learning to drive it instead ;-)

I loved driving that car on the track :nice:

How are you getting on with it now John? It was really well set up for cornering at my local track when I had it and the gearbox really helped

Was a good going wee vti that, suited kirky well had a good few wee runs out with it and Stephen wasn't scared of it lol my car had plenty of power just a pity about my cams needing dialled in to get the vetch point set were it shoulda been 6200 was just that but late for some of the track
Will have to get liner down with u Stephen if all goes well:)

Definitally Phill, we will be there on the 23rd of March and as many dates as possible after that. I will be getting used to the car on track for the first time so I wont be breaking any lap records thats for sure and will probably struggle to get close to the Civic's lap times for a while

Your old DC2 was a very capable car and Im sure you miss it too

Skyline battle haha sideways threw debtors corners?.. Lol and yh had loads of power top end just needed it mapped again still needs mapped haha

Its a good setup for Oulton...and no gear mishaps. Passed my ARDS so first race is april. Its an easy car to drive and great fun. Nothing was touching it in the wet.

I thought you were onto Evos Stephen? Is the 32 a gtst or gtr?
Im yet to come across a quick 2wd skyline on track but by all accounts there was a couple of scorchers in skylineowners.

God man Im glad the car is being used for what it was built for

Yes I sold the EVO as I was driving it as a daily and I got tired of fueling it every week. So I decided to buy a fresh Import gtst for weekend and trackdays only. Hopefully it will be easier to maintain than the heavier 4WD car

I have stipped the interior and fitted a half cage, removed the 4 wheel steering rack, pump, solenoid and lines etc, removed sunroof, sound deadening and plan to buy a carbon bonnet so it should be under 1200kg when Im done.

Lower weight for handling was a reason I went for an R32 and after getting to drive the car over the weekend it seems to handle very well and doesnt feel heavy to me. I will not really know until I get it onto the track

Suspension, setup and tyres will be an important factor aswell and I think I have that covered
