Hi All,

I thought i'd share my previous pics of my Nissan Skyline R33 GTR and Mazda RX7 Type R. and also a pic of my current facelift Civic 1.4 SE

I know what you guys are gonna say why down grade from an 2.6 twin turbo to an 1.4 Civic well, ihave 2 kids and trust me the kids will get deaf if sitting in my GTR so thought i'd go for a Civic which i have always liked as an day to day car.

I'm thinking of doing a slow project (whenever i get time) on my Civic to make it look like an EK9 Type R, currently i have only brought a few items i.e. DC5 Red Recaro's, EK9 Door cards and EK9 gear knob and some basic Red Velour Car Mats from ebay.

Currently trying to look for a set of EK9 Recaro seat rails which i know is very hard to find, if anyone knows who is selling one please refer them to me. Thanks.

Sorry i only have one pic of my current Civic due to the bad weather we have been having these few weeks, Anyway i hope you like my pics.

Sweet previous cars.... Why a 1.4i though opposed to say an EK4 or EK9?

When you get to my age with kids you don't want to go for bigger engines size, when you say EK4 which model is the EK4 and also what does my 1.4 SE come under? E something? thanks

EK4 is the VTI with a B16a2 engine.

How was RX7 ownership? I always hear mixed reviews when it comes to reliability and fuel consumption.

Nice lookin machines, had a black FD myself for 3yrs sorry I ever sold it:(( it had them mazdaspeed wheels aswell

Serious previous cars! the civic though not much of a family a car. You could do with an accord and have more space and an engine with grunt than that of the 1,4 in the civic. I`m 31 myself and have a 15 month daughter. My civic is loud, but wouldn`t ever consider of downgrading to a 1,4 hatch from my 1,8lt/220hp. As mentioned above why didn`t you get the vti?

:welcome: to the forum, thats a nice R33 but that RX-7 is stunning :nice:

I see, so EK4 is 1.6 VTI so what does my 1.4 SE come under? E something? thanks

RX7 is a nice ride, seating is well low.
Not recommended for people with bad back, Reliability is good if you look after it but bad thing is they need full engine rebuilds as for the fuel lets just say you it's thirsty

The rx7 is as good as the owner looks after it. There are some do's and dont's, stick to them and the rotarty will never let you down.

As far as fuel consumption goes lets just say its worth it:D

Yeah i miss FD too, it's a shame they don't make cars like them these days

Yeah had an Accord 2.2 VTEC Type R doesn't feel right, i guess i'm so used to driving cars with 2 doors instead of 4, i didn't go for VTI due to fuel and Insurance as i'm trying to keep it as low as possible because i do alot of mileage.

Your history of car ownership is lovely mate, the RX looks spot on, tasteful and not over done I'd say.

The 1.4 SE would be an EJ9 mate :nice:

Sick cars also, love the rex!
