I am led to believe its the discontinued Apexi GT Spec. I cannot find any info on it.
Its Apexi for sure, for a number of reasons; sounds fairly similar to the Apexi N1. Its mild steel and its got Apexi in permanent marker written on it.

I didn't like it at first but now its growing on me. I might keep it.
What do you think?

I seriously doubt APEXi would put their name on anything with "permanent marker", and I would also think that anything made by APEXi exhaust wise would be the usual uber-light Japanese stainless.

As far as I know Buddy Club were the only ones who made a megaphone style exhaust for any market, although there is all sorts of weird stuff that rears its head from time to time.

APEXi gear was generally top quality stuff (APEXi N1 Pro suspension is still considered among the best for EK chassis even though it hasn't been made for a few years) so the permanent marker thing just doesn't addd up. Other APEXi exhausts have the APEXi logo stamped into them (as does Buddy Club) so I wouldn't think this one would be any different.

Do you know any of it's history? I know a guy here in New Zealand with a Buddy Club Spec II (megaphone muffler) and its LOUD, almost too loud! This looks almost identical...

wud agree with top post looks identical to 'buddyclub spec 2' real nice exhaust :nice: look up spec 2 on google.

No disrespect to you two, but that shows how much you two know.
Buddyclub Spec 2 is no where near as big as this. And Buddyclub is stainless.
Apexi make both stainless and mild steel systems....
There are no tags on this system, and maybe the apexi in permanent marker was written on there by previous owner to identify what it is, but im not saying it is infact apexi.

I have googled a few Apexi GT Spec's, they don't seem to look like your exhaust, not sure what it is????

Not a fan of loud/loud exhausts really, however sounds Sweeeeeeet.

Watch out for road humps, as it seems it may scrape everywhere :nono:

Don't worry, all good :)

Just trying to work it out for you, it just seems odd to me that APEXi would make something and not put a stamped or laser cut logo on it.

And you DID ask for opinions :p

I would bet that it sounds real good and makes good power though. If that's the case, who cares what it is? ALthough if it is indeed an APEXi system it'll be worth more than a "custom" exhaust for sure.

Looks awesome also...

Sounds awesome, not sure Spoon N1 noise can be beaten though.

its proper growing on me, so its staying now lol.
Agreed, Spoon N1 cannot be beaten.

its not an apexi gt spec,i had one and its nothing like this, theres one on my car in the pic below,as you can see it has a back box rather than a straight through pipe.
